  • J. Brown

“Of the many instructors I had the privilege of flying with throughout the course of earning my private pilot’s license and instrument rating, Instructor Hawkins stands out as the one I learned the most from. Besides being highly fluent in any subject area I could think to ask him about, his ability to allow the student to fly the plane is unparalleled.

I owe the fact that I was able to remain safe during my first solo flight, and my training overall, to Instructor Hawkins. Both his other students and I agree [Instructor Hawkins’ training methods are] relatable to one’s own unique experience, allowing for a custom-tailored course for each person.”

  • R. Samuelson

“Mr. Hawkins is an excellent mechanic, an awesome pilot, and a talented instructor. He is dedicated, hardworking, and always punctual.”

  • T. Slavonik

“In a day where we are constantly reminded of the negative results stemming from poor Instruction given, Nathan stands ready as a Flight Instructor that chooses to make a difference. His ‘end game’ is not building time to get to the Airlines; being a Flight Instructor is Nathan’s chosen career path. He’s in it for the long haul.”

    • Pre-Flight Brief: We will meet before the flight to set clear learning objectives and understand exactly what will happen in the air.

    • Flight Training: You’ll apply what we discussed in real time with hands-on instruction in the aircraft.

    • Debrief: After landing, we will review what went well, what needs improvement, and what to focus on next.
